We have been learning about flowers. We planted sunflower seeds, learned to label the parts of a plant and explain the purpose of all the different parts. We used our new Strawbees kit to create flowers with petals, a stem, leaves and roots. It was great fun!
We have been learning about Paul Klee and using shapes to create abstract art. We read the story about his famous painting The Cat and the Bird. We investigated the colour wheel to understand how colours were mixed. Some of us used cool colours whilst some used warm colours to colour the buildings.
