Maths Week Fun!

September has been a very busy month!

We have been learning about pointillism and abstract art and have produced amazing pieces of artwork to brighten up our classroom. We are as good as Picasso and Seurat.

We are learning to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks. O'clock time is easy so we have moved on to half past times. We love playing time games.

We have also been busy during Maths Week and have been creating spaceship pictures using 2D shapes. We have also been using 3D shapes to build models using the Lego kits and large wooden blocks.

As part of our Seaside topic, we have been learning about keeping our seas, oceans, rivers and beaches clean. We carried out a litter survey and created pictographs showing the litter that we found. We even made a human graph.
