Primary 1/2 The Ancient Egyptians

 Everyone is continuing to enjoy our topic about the Ancient Egyptians. The more gruesome the fact the better. Have a look at what we've been up to this week.

P1b - language play

 This week we are learning the ‘qu’ sound! We have also been using reading comprehension strategies to learn about the characters, setting and plot of different stories.

P1b - purposeful play

 We have been learning about Fairtrade and set up a Fairtrade farm shop. We had so much fun constructing, investigating, talking and playing this morning!

P1b - Reading Roundabouts

We are learning to use different comprehension strategies to help us understand what is happening in a story. Today, we used a ‘picture walk’ to find clues about the characters, setting and plot. Here we are completing our ‘reading roundabout’ follow-up tasks. You can help us at home by asking us to picture walk our favourite bedtime stories.
